The participating teams need to demonstrate
true originality of their idea and any subsequent infringements
of existing
copyrights will lead to disqualification.

If participating teams use works
from other sources, they must provide clear reference attribution
or
the judges may consider the participating teams could have
committed an act of plagiarism.

The participating teams should not seek advice from external
parties, including lecturers, parents or consultants.

The
participating teams can only use and apply all legal
and licensed software for their presentation.

The organisers will only
provide a laptop with Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation.
In addition, the organisers
will try and assist with software arrangements
but will not guarantee
that any particular software will be provided on
the day. The participating teams are welcomed to bring
their own
computers for the presentation.

The organisers will
not be responsible for computer application failures.
For this reason, participating
teams should ensure
that everything is working properly prior to
the presentation day.

The organisers reserve the final
right to postpone or amend the rules and regulations
of the competition
without
prior notice. However, the organiser will try
to provide notification as early as possible. All matters
or disputes are subject to the final decision of the organisers.

The participating
teams are reminded to take care of personal belongings.
The organisers will
assume
no responsibility
for
the loss of valuables, injuries or damage
which may occur during participation in or attendance
of the
competition
and its related activities.
