Physiotherapy 物理治療學
物理治療學是其中一門醫療專科，性質上可以說成為西方國家的「跌打」。工作主要負責以各種物理性方法如電療、水療、超聲波、熱力及徒手治療等，幫助受傷或有先天缺陷的病人恢復活動能力。而作為一個醫護人員，應該具備耐性、細心的工作態度及樂於與人溝通，以了解病人的不同需要及果斷地提供相應的治療療法。
基本入學要求
物理治療學學士學位課程只會接受修讀理科的學生報讀。同學須於香港中學文憑試(或相等學歷)取得第5級的成績，部份院校更會明確指定申請者要有修讀生物科、化學科或物理科。至於IELTS雅思英文試的要求為最少7.0。
另外，院校也會考慮申請的同學是否曾經有社區保健的工作經驗，如擔任復康中心義工等。符合初部入學資格的同學亦有機會被邀請接受面試作篩選之用。
物理治療學碩士學位課程的要求為持有相關的學士學位或同等學歷。但因學額有限，因此建議申請者最好準備充足的學術推薦及工作證明文件，以增加取錄機會。

專業認可資格
根據物理治療師管理委員會的指引，海外物理治療學畢業生要在本港登記成為註冊物理治療師，必須符合以下
註冊資格：
• 完成三年制或以上物理治療師管理委員會認可海外學士課程
• 至少800小時在督導下執行物理治療工作的臨床實習課
• 若有關課程大綱未能完全符合輔助醫療業管理局認可的要求，需參加由物理治療師管理委員會舉辦的註冊考試

We train students to become competent and jobready by focusing on both theoretical studies and development of practical skills. Emphasis is also placed on professional development and strong interpersonal communication skills, which are needed for client-centred practice. We place students into clinical placements so students do not have to seek out clinical placement opportunities themselves. We ensure that all students will receive a min. of 1318 hours (BSc Physio) & 1000 hours (Master of Physio) of clinical placements for the duration of their course. During clinical practice, our students work under clinical supervision in hospitals and community settings (i.e. Physiotherapy clinics), and they get t o work with clients from all age groups.
